Each year for Halloween we're hosting a little party at our place. I invite my best friends and then we eat, drink and last but not least, play Singstar (it's a ritual, everyone who visits me has to sing). Regarding Halloween costumes I'm not really that good - because we celebrate carnival, I'm more concentrating on that and on Halloween I'm mosly just something spooky, black dressed, crazy made up something (till now either dead bride, or bad angel, etc.). Because my costume isn't that much work, I concentrate on great nibbles for my guests. Last year I served these cupcakes with these spooky cocktails. Because I love ghost and skull marshmallows, I decided to make these skull madelaines this year. Unfortunately I didn't have any madelaine baking forms so I just put all the dough onto a baking sheet and cut the madelaines out with a cookie cutter afterwards. Then I glazed them, put the skulls on and that's it.
